Running with scissors is a one-woman show that slices into the high stakes world of women surgeons: where precision is everything, authority is questioned, and one wrong move can change a life. With dark humour, raw honesty and scalpel-sharp storytelling, the show explores what it costs to cut your way into a profession that wasn’t built for you.
From history to present day, the theatre of war to the NHS, from ambition to burnout and confidence to doubt, Running with scissors exposes the blood, bone and bravery behind the mask. Told by an NHS surgeon turned storyteller, this is a show about hands that heal, systems that wound, and women who refuse to be careful.
