Clown duo Plowman and Cummins present a surreal trip to the hairdressers. Expect bouncy blow-dries, falling over, mess, beauty, violence and classical singing.
Using absurd visual comedy, physical theatre and splintered narrative, Plowman and Cummins herald a slapstick revival. The salon dissolves into moments of chaos, danger and silliness as objects, costumes and bodies morph in and out of reality.
Part-clown part-performance art, ‘Plowman and Cummins are Plowman and Cummins’ is their debut hour-long comedy show, appearing at Brighton Fringe for the very first time. For fans of foolishness, laughing and the feeling you get when you watch someone run for the bus as it drives away.
